Ingredients

  • 260 g oats
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 packet of vanilla extract
  • 200 g butter
  • 120 g brown sugar
  • 250 g Type 00 flour
  • 100 g raisins
  • 1 packet of yeast
  • 1 pinch of salt

Directions

  1. Let’s get a nice, large bowl ready, preheat the oven to 180°C in conventional mode, and line a few baking sheets with parchment paper.

  2. While it’s heating, combine the butter and sugar in a bowl until creamy.

  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the mixture, continuing to beat.

  4. Add the flour, baking powder, and salt, continuing to mix.

  5. Once the mixture is smooth, add the raisins and oats. Stir until the last ingredients added are fully incorporated and evenly distributed.

  6. Form the mixture into small balls and place them on parchment paper, spacing them well apart because you’ll need to flatten them slightly before baking, as shown in the picture.

  7. To make the scoops, I used an ice cream scoop—the kind that makes scoops—which is super convenient!

  8. They’ll spread out a bit, so space them out so you don’t end up with one giant cookie when they’re done baking! :D

  9. Bake for 12 minutes and let cool on a wire rack.

I’m back from my summer break, and the first recipe I’d like to share with you is for oatmeal and raisin cookies!

I chose this recipe because when you’ve just gotten back from vacation, you don’t really feel like cooking, but if it’s easy to prepare, cooks quickly, doesn’t require too many ingredients, and the result is guaranteed, why not?

So I’d say let’s get back on track, slowly but surely, and get back into our routine… keeping in mind that Christmas will be here before we know it!

:D

Enjoy your meal! :D
