As I promised, here’s the crispiest version of the most famous recipe on my little blog: the one for Hard “coccoretti del beglio.”(You can find the softer, more classic version by clicking here).
Just like the previous recipe, there are very few ingredients, and it’s even easier to make!
Happy Monday, everyone! Today I’m sharing a recipe for lemon egg white cake! I love bringing the dessert I make over the weekend into your homes every Monday! I like to think that I’m bringing you at least a little bit of happiness on this awfullyyyyy bad day! Today I’d like to share another version of the egg-white cake with you. It’s a type of cake I’ve been making a lot lately because it turns out incredibly light and is perfect for any occasion. I definitely recommend it in the morning—it gives you a phenomenal energy boost!
This cocoa egg-white cake was created to use up the leftover egg whites from previous recipes.
It’s a soft, delicious cake, and the egg whites give it an indescribable lightness. You can easily customize it with chocolate chips or fruit of your choice, or slice it and fill it with Nutella, milk cream, or apricot, strawberry, raspberry, fig, or pear jam.
We often end up with leftover egg whites when making desserts, and the question is always the same: what should I do with them? For a while now, my solution has been “Belgian coccoretti”! :D
I’ve tried two versions: one where the cookies turn out soft, and the other where they stay crispier (click here to see the recipe).
Today I’m sharing a recipe for soft Belgian coccoretti—I hope you like them!!
