My favorite breakfasts are those accompanied by simple, fluffy cakes, and the yogurt plum cake is definitely one of my top ten favorites :D
Here’s a version I’m sharing with corn oil and apricot yogurt! Try it—it’s absolutely delicious!!!
This year, during a wonderful trip to America, I learned how to make amazing pancakes for breakfast! More than the recipe, what I was missing was the technique… in fact, I was always trying to get rid of the lumps in the batter, but I discovered that they’re actually important for making the pancakes fluffy and super soft!
This** beetroot and chocolate cake** is perfect for anyone who still has leftover chocolate from Easter—or just too much of it! Plus, we can take this opportunity to eat some beets—which, between you and me, I personally don’t really like on their own, let alone the kids!
I got the idea for this cake while making the savory beet pie (click for the recipe!), which was created specifically to introduce even the youngest children to this vegetable, thanks to our collaboration with our friends in Rome: MANI - Culture for Children.
If you don’t know yet, we’re three really fun guys who liven up the days and evenings of kids in Rome and the surrounding area with super fun events and parties!
By the way: this week (Wednesday, to be exact) will feature the penultimate post before summer break—and this time’s color is GREEN!

Carrot cake is a light and delicious dessert that I’ve enjoyed ever since I was a child. There are many recipes for it, and you can find another version in the post already on the site titled “Carrot Cupcakes.”
Hot Milk Cake
You really have to try this cake—it’s incredibly soft and has a truly unique flavor :D It’s super quick to make and perfect for both breakfast and an afternoon snack for adults and kids alike ^.^
Ciambellone… what could be better for breakfast?
By now, my passion for breakfast cakes is more than obvious, and this one is among my favorites—I make it very often.
It’s easy, quick, and absolutely delicious, to say the least!
The only downside is that it ends too soon!
Short on time to make a dessert? Last-minute dinner guests? Don’t worry—the** “one-minute cake”** will save the day!
Easy, quick, fluffy, and delicious!
There are countless versions of apple cake; this is the one I’ve been making lately, and I have to say the result is both very appetizing and light. It’s packed with apples—just the way I like it!
A tip: it’s best to use very ripe yellow apples, because the cake turns out even tastier and more flavorful!
