This year, during a wonderful trip to America, I learned how to make amazing pancakes for breakfast! More than the recipe, what I was missing was the technique… in fact, I was always trying to get rid of the lumps in the batter, but I discovered that they’re actually important for making the pancakes fluffy and super soft!
Raspberry Bavarian Cream
Raspberry Bavarian cream is a delicious, refreshing dessert to enjoy as summer comes to a close.
Simple, quick, and perfect for ending the evening with a light, fruity, and delicious dessert.
I made this for a dinner with my friends, and I have to say I was very pleased with the result; plus, by making it the day before, I avoided having to rush through everything.
ACE Juice
Today’s recipe is an ACE smoothie—a tasty and healthy way for both kids and adults to enjoy a good serving of fruit during snack time, in a slightly different way than usual. With just 3 ingredients and a blender, you’re all set!
Summer is coming to an end, and at this time of year I often feel tired and drained… For a while now, I’ve been trying out different combinations of smoothies, and I have to say they help me get all the vitamins and fiber that I sometimes can’t get from my meals—plus, they’re really delicious and quick to make.
Refreshing Smoothie
Today I’m sharing some simple shortbread cookies presented in a fun way. After making the shortcrust pastry, I made some little bears tender that are filled with almonds…it’s an idea for making a simple recipe look spectacular :)
For these cookies, I used a bear-shaped cookie cutter—it’s really cute and inexpensive… Here’s the Amazon link where you can buy it: Bear-Shaped Cookie Cutter, Stainless Steel
I made the shortcrust pastry using the same recipe as the base for the lemon tart that I’m sharing with you below.
The** Nutella Danubio** is the perfect dessert for kids’ parties or an evening with friends. It consists of lots of little brioche balls filled—in this case, with Nutella—that you pull off one by one. You just can’t stop eating them!
Raspberry Cheesecake
Summer has finally arrived; it’s really hot out, and I really don’t feel like turning on the oven, but I still want to enjoy a nice dessert, so I’ve decided to share a recipe for a** cold raspberry cheesecake** with you. Actually, the idea came from my niece, who just finished her 8th-grade exams and wanted a nice cake to celebrate. She wanted something fresh and tasty—and here it is! It’s easy to make and can even be prepared the day before.
Christmas is just around the corner, and it wouldn’t be Christmas without some beautiful shortbread cookies decorated with royal icing :)
The shortcrust pastry for these cookies is different from the one I shared with you previously (shortbread cookies); in fact, in this case
Christmas Cookies
We don’t want the cookie to be crumbly, otherwise it would break while we’re decorating it :)
It’s also important to point out a few things: the dough is made with powdered sugar to make the cookie’s surface smoother. Also, butter is the enemy of icing, so let the cookies rest for a few hours (I leave them overnight) with the surface facing down on a paper towel so that all the excess butter is absorbed by the paper towel.
I chose Christmas trees that are simple and fun to decorate, but you can choose any shape you like.
The** shortbread cookies** I’m sharing with you are a twist on the classic shortbread dough. They’re very quick to make and can be prepared in a food processor instead of a stand mixer. The result is excellent, and best of all, there’s hardly any mess in the kitchen!
To decorate these cookies, I used another set of Tescoma cookie cutters—the same ones I’d used for the coconut cookies—because they’re so cute I just couldn’t resist. This time, they’re really cute little animals :)
